Reading Notes: Mahabharata, Section C

The Mahabharata

-The Pandavas spent much time in the forest with ample food, but not much detail is given of their journey. Could tell tales of their adventures in the wilderness while they wandered and lived.
-Draupadi is selfish and upset that all was taken from her. Could change her views and retell where she is more understanding, or could take it a step further by having her gain powers and lash out at those who took her fortune from her.
-Arjuna fights with a huntsman for a kill, but realizes it is a god who has come to test his power. What would happen if Arjuna continued the fight instead? Or if he never realized the man was a god?
-Urvashi fell in love with Arjuna, but was mad that he didn't love her back (as per usual) so she placed a curse on him. I want more information on this exchange and her plight.
-What exactly happened in the ensuing fight? With the car and giant evil women? Add more detail and explain this fight.
-Arjuna and friends made their way into the magnificent celestial city, and were told wonderful tales. Could retell these tales and create my own that intertwine with the original story.
-Hanuman is still on earth! I could tell the tales of his time between the two epics and what adventures he went on!
-Could retell the section where Karna releases his armor and earrings and add more suspense and tension. It's a powerful scene.
-Draupadi is kidnapped by a king and then her brother avenges her. How about Draupadi avenges herself and is empowered?
-A troll is guarding the water??? Four dudes are dead? I do not like this scene. I could rewrite it and give them all different riddles and make it where important characters do not die like wimps.
