Reading Notes: Epified Krishna, Part A
Epified Krishna
-Krishna had enemies before he was born, so they tried to keep him from being born and growing. Could tell a story about how his mother had to ward off death while she was pregnant.
-Krishna would guide the Pandavas into war.
-The 8th child of his cousin would kill Kamsa. He wanted to kill them, but his sister stopped him.
-Kamsa killed the first 6 children of his cousins by throwing them against the wall.
-The gods saved the seventh (thank god). The eighth was the incarnation of Vishnu. He was a strong boy!
-Vasudev ponders the fate of his son. I wonder what he thought about? I wonder if he knows the power of his child?
-A voice guided Vasudev safely out with his child. Everyone was asleep and everything was frozen.
-A giant serpent came out of a river and protected Vasudev and his son! I wonder what it was like to be underneath the serpent's hood?
-He switched his child out with someone else's daughter. I think that's rude.
-Kamsa was still going to kill the daughter, but she turned into Durga. Heck yeah, she told him off and let him know he DEAD boi.
-Yashoda discovers her daughter is not there- instead it is a son. Everyone loves him (Krishna). She holds him close because of Kamsa.
-A demon stole Krishna! She wants to poison him with breastmilk? He took her power. He totally kills her. This would make a crazy story.
-Krishna is a strong little boy! I could tell such cute stories about strong little Krishna! He's also a bit mischievous. Butter stealer.
-Krishna begins to eat mud. His mom looks in his mouth and he has the universe. She could go on a journey through the universe or time travel.
-Krishna and his family moved to a new place. They would play in the forbidden forest (perhaps they get into dangerous adventures?)
-Krishna enjoys music. Could make a story about him in song/poem form with lyrics?
-Krishna challenges a snake because he has poisoned all of his friends. And the water.
-Krishna is a naughty young boy ;)
-He is also a talented and strong young man! He choked a tornado! Could tell stories of his amazing feats.
